This is a typical day here in New England, the sun is out, the temperature is 28 degrees. I place three Solar Air Heaters in my windows facing south from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. These are located in my kitchen and living room. These rooms are also 12'x20' and 12'x18'. My house thermostat is set for 62f. Using the solar air heaters on sunny and partially sunny days brings the room temperature up to 69f. The furnace does not go on all day - saving my winter fuel heating costs.
