I have added new pictures showing actual use of the solar window box heater. This is a typical day here in new england, the sun is out, the temperature is 28 degrees F. I place the window box in the kitchen window from 9am to 3 pm each day. There is also a close up of the solar window box heater showing the embedded solar fans. My house thermostat is set for 65f. Using the solar window box heater on a sunny day brings the room temperatur up to 69f. The furnace does not go on all day - saving my winter fuel heating costs.
